Compact Asynchronous Motors

Our compact asynchronous motors deliver high torque despite their small size. They are extremely dynamic due to low inertia, feature a sophisticated design, and are electromagnetically compatible for optimum compact performance. These motors are specifically developed for use with speed-controlled drives and frequency converters.

They are based on a flexible platform system and can be adapted to specific customer requirements. The housings are rectangular and jacket-free. They also feature external ventilation, ensuring continuous full torque across the entire speed range. With optimized control behavior for inverter operation, these motors can even replace DC motors in certain applications.

Performance Specifications
LDW produces compact asynchronous motors in the power range of approximately 150 kW to 2,500 kW at 1,500 rpm.

Equipment
Compact asynchronous motors are available with squirrel-cage rotors and all common protection and cooling configurations. LDW produces these motors for both horizontal and vertical installation. They are suitable for operation with frequency converters in low-voltage applications.
